Preguntas frecuentes
Todo lo que necesitas saber antes de tu aventura en las Azores.
Booking
How far in advance should I book?
For summer (June–September) we recommend booking 2–4 weeks ahead. Off-season, most experiences are available up to 48h before.
Can I book experiences on multiple islands?
Yes — you can book experiences on any of the nine islands. Each experience is booked individually, so you complete a separate booking for each one.
Do I need to print my voucher?
No. A digital voucher on your phone works everywhere.
Do you sell multi-day packages or tours?
No — we list single activities only, not multi-day packages or organised tours.
Payments
Which payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, MB WAY, Multibanco, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
When am I charged?
Your card is charged at the time of booking.
Is my payment secure?
All payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant providers. We never store your full card details.
Do prices include VAT, and will I get an invoice?
Prices include IVA (Portuguese VAT) and all mandatory charges. The operator running your experience issues the invoice (fatura).
Cancellations & refunds
Can I cancel my booking?
Cancellation terms are set by each operator and shown before you book — many allow free cancellation 24–48h before the start, but always check the specific policy on the listing.
What if the weather is bad?
If the operator cancels for weather or safety, you get a full refund; a reschedule is offered when the operator can arrange one.
How long do refunds take?
Refunds go back to your original payment method and take 5–10 business days.
Do I have a 14-day right to cancel?
Date-specific tourism has no 14-day withdrawal right (DL 24/2014, art. 17.º). Your mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
On the day
Where do I meet the guide?
Meeting points are in your voucher and emailed to you the day before.
What should I bring?
Layered clothing, sunscreen, water, and closed-toe shoes. Experience-specific requirements are in the listing.
Are experiences accessible?
Use the accessibility filters to find step-free or wheelchair-friendly experiences, and confirm the specifics with the operator before booking.
Your booking & our role
Who am I buying from?
DoAzores is a booking platform and disclosed intermediary — the operator provides the experience and issues your invoice. We book it in their name and on their behalf.
How do I make a complaint?
Contact our support or the operator first. You can also use the Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico, Portugal's official complaints book.
