Cancellation Policy

We know plans change. This policy explains how cancellations, reschedules, and refunds work on Doazores.

1. Standard policy

Unless an experience listing states otherwise, you can cancel up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start are non-refundable.

2. Experiences with a custom policy

Some experiences (multi-day tours, chartered boats, private experiences) have a custom cancellation window shown on the listing page. The listing policy takes precedence.

3. Weather and safety

If the Operator cancels due to weather, sea conditions, or safety concerns, you receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no cost.

4. No-show

Failing to arrive at the meeting point without notice is treated as a no-show and is non-refundable.

5. How to cancel

Sign in, open your booking, and click ‘Cancel booking’ — or email hello@doazores.com with your booking reference.

6. When you get your money back

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of the cancellation being confirmed.
