Updated 28 October 2026For Halloween 2026, Angra do Heroísmo turns the Cerrado do Bailão into a drive-in cinema for two free screenings, according to the Câmara de Angra.
The two sessions
- Saturday 31 October, at midnight: Hokum – O Pesadelo da Bruxa, a suspense film for the grown-ups.
- Sunday 1 November, at 16:00: A Magia da Árvore Longínqua, suitable for all ages.
Practical notes
Entry is free. You watch from your car, so this works best with a rental car. The page does not say which language version is shown, so ask locally if that matters to you.
